Ann is a Director and Producer known for compelling documentaries and series. Her film, My Enemy, My Brother won Grand Jury Prize at SDAFF, the short version was shortlisted for a 2016 Academy Award, and was nominated for an Emmy. Her cross-platform project The Defector won Best Documentary, Best Documentary and Best Documentary Director at the Canadian Screen Awards. The Defector Interactive won the FITC Award, the Canadian Digi Award, and Best Cross-platform Project at the SXSW Interactive Festival. Her films and series have aired on CBC, TVO, HBO, ABC, CBC, Youtube Premium, CBC, The Documentary Channel, PBS, ITVS, Discovery Channel, HGTV, History Channel among others.
